Bio
Sally Ben trained as an early years and primary school teacher, did a Masters degree in Applied Educational Studies, and followed a career in education for many years, eventually taking on the role of Head of Children’s Services in Calderdale. She then went to the Solomon Islands with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), where she met her husband, Gibson.
She has been involved in ministry in different church settings since becoming a Christian at 15 years old. She worked for a few years in the 1980s as a full time children’s work trainer for a group of churches, and she has been recognised as a preacher and teacher, utilising her prophetic gifting. Other roles included that of finance officer and charity trustee, where she employed her administration and finance skills. Her next employment was as a debt centre manager for her church working through Christians Against Poverty (CAP). She also trained with CAP as an evangelistic speaker.
Entering semi-retirement, she trained as a Life Coach, and then as a Marriage Coach, alongside her husband.
